Robertson Motorsports is Ready for Season Opener

Winston-Salem, NC: After what seemed like forever, but was only a few short months Robertson Motorsports is ready to start racing. Ryan Robertson, driver of the #31 Savage Energy Chevrolet will be heading out to Hickory Motor Speedway for the first race of the UARA-Stars Season on Saturday, March 14th.
Robertson made his debut in the UARA in 2008 racing in 8 races. He had 2 top ten a
nd 6 top 20 finishes in the 8 races. He finished 17th at Hickory.
“We are looking forward to heading back out to the track,” said Robertson. “Last year was a learning year for us all moving up into a more competitive series. I think we have a better feel for the car and the track. We are hoping to break into the top five this season.”
Robertson tested during the UARA test session at Rockingham Speedway on March 3rd. Out of the 28 cars in attendance he ended the day 17th fastest.
“This was our first time running at The Rock, so the experience was great,” said Robertson. “The car felt pretty good throughout the day.”
Robertson Motorsports is currently sponsored by Carolina Wood Floors and WSSU Motorsport Management and will field a car at Bowman Gray Stadium driven by Scott Hall.
