2008 will go down as a season to remember. Many highlights, great memories, and more wins made 2008 special. We entered the season with nothing more than faith. Most tracks Ryan had never even seen much less raced on. Ryan showed his true talent as a driver. Winning on Savage Energy Night, making Martinsville, and learning each week will stay in our hearts for many years to come. Kenneth Palmer, our crew chief for over 10 years, we always look to him for that steady hand. Derrick Barnes, Justin Holye, Joe Miller, Arthur Carver and Robert Bradley made this year exciting. Each member stepped up and was asked to do more and passed the test with great results. We missed one team member Jason Holye. Jason has been fighting cancer and our team will never be the same till he returns. Talk about courage, this young man is our hero.
Many people helped us along the way. Greg Marlowe took Ryan under his wing. Worked with him every week. Ryan and Greg seemed to have a special bond that when they talked we just stood back. Magic was in the air. Greg is a true racer and friend. I can never thank him enough. Performance Enterprises, made great power and passed the test. Thanks Alfred.
Scott Hall our other driver at Robertson Motorsports. I knew when I chose Scott we would never be short on talent. He was sent to the famed B-G and did he ever make noise. Winning, setting fast times and turning heads.
